Content Management System

We recommend hosting your website inside our Content Management System. This can be hosted on your own server, or you can share our hosting. A CMS allows you to update your own site content without needing any technical knowledge.

The CMS allows basic formatting but does not let you change the design. The administration is done via a browser and gives the following functionality:

• Ability to update the content and add / delete pages
• Organise pages into folders for navigation and permissions.
• WYSIWYG editor for FireFox and IE, downgrading to a text-editor for other browsers
• Ability to upload images and attachments

As part of your requirements, we can add bespoke functionality to the site. For example, this site is created with the CMS with custom functionality for projects and reports.

In the simplest case, there is only one administrator account which can do everything and all users can see the same content.  Further options can be activated to create different users and roles to restrict what they can see.
